Dr. Macie Ussery Moody Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Owner
Dr. Moody graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, Cum Laude. She was the recipient of Schering Plough Dermatology Award. A Montgomery native, Dr. Moody graduated from Booker T Washington Magnet High School and then completed her undergraduate studies at Huntingdon College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Moody purchased Animal Care Center in 2018 from her former boss and mentor, Dr. Jack Davidson, who passed away in November of 2017. Dr. Moody is a compassionate, energetic veterinarian with professional interests in dermatology, feline medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. Dr Moody lives in Prattville with her son Will and shares her home with Crosby, her sidekick Boston Terrier and a sweet orange kitty boy named Tommy.

Dr. Tracy Miller Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Miller attended Eastern Kentucky University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry Minor and is a 2018 graduate of Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Miller was an emergency and intensive care nurse prior to entering the veterinary profession. She has lived abroad in Taiwan and Australia. She has a special interest in feline medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Outside of work Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her husband and three cats, playing music and watching college football.

Wendy Groomer
Originally from Louisville Kentucky, Wendy has lived in Prattville for the past 25 years. She has been grooming for the last 15 years and absolutely loves it. Wendy has 2 grown sons and has been married to her husband, David for 40 years. Wendy shares her home with 3 dogs, 2 shih tzus, Gobe and Sookie and a Pit mix named Lola. In her free time she enjoys gardening and making all kinds of delicious foods, especially a variety of pimento cheese spreads (and yes, her pimento cheese is delicious).

Jaden Kennel Assistant
Jaden is our kennel assistant and enjoys working with animals. She currently attends high school in Prattville and plans on going to veterinary school at Auburn. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her horses and barrel racing.

Danielle Veterinary Assistant
Danielle is one of our veterinary assistant and loves all animals. She is currently an undergraduate at AUM. She lives in Prattville with her leopard gecko Eclipse, who is her scalebaby. Born in Hamilton, Alabama, she has worked in the veterinary field for 1 1/2 years. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, writing, and watching TV.

Mary Kathryn Licensed Veterinary Technician
Mary Kathryn is our Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is originally from Memphis, TN area and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medical Technology. She lives in Prattville with her husband, Hunter, who is in the Air Force and currently stationed at Maxwell. They have two spoiled rotten “children”, a precious angel named Cato and a hot mess named Jaegar, both of which are Longhaired Dachshunds. In her free time, Mary Kathyrn enjoys traveling, trying new foods and restaurants, reading, shopping, and spending time with family

Meri Client Care Specialist
Meri is our client care specialist. She has been in the veterinary field for 10 years. She lives in Wetumpka with her husband, Nick, and their five furbabies – a cat named Kitty, a three-legged, toothless Chihuahua named Mr. Nelson, a Dorkie named Face, a Hound named Lou, and a Red Heeler mix named River. In her spare time, she enjoys Auburn football, hunting with her husband, being at the lake and taking care of her furbabies.
